Originally from Paris, Master Sommelier Chris Delalonde started his career in 1992, working for Philippe Faure Brac (ASI world best sommelier 1992), before joining Nigel Platts - Martin and Phil Howard at The Square in Mayfair where he stayed almost 10 years. Chris was Head Sommelier at Alain Passard’s Arpege aged just 23. In 2001 he was a part of the Gordon Ramsay at Claridges opening.
Chris passed the MS exam in 2009 and won the UK Sommelier competition in 2010.
Chris was Beverage Manager for Bleeding Heart in Farringdon, before joining the Dorchester as Head of Wines.
