Tanguy arrived in the UK in 2011 and started to work alongside Gerard Basset in the New Forest for years where he gained the position of Head Sommelier. While working with Gerard Basset Tanguy took part in different competitions and was named UK Young Sommelier of the Year in 2013 and UK Sommelier of the Year in 2015. To develop his career Tanguy moved to London and worked for several restaurants such as La Trompette (one Michelin star) and lately as Wine director for Cabotte, Blandford Comptoir, the Blackbook and Comptoir Cafe & Wine group. Tanguy is now working for Roberson Wine as Business Development Manager.
